Questions and answers

Is this a learning styles test?

No. A self-report of study habits. Not a test, a type or a learning style.

It shows how often you say you use eight study approaches. How we built it

How long does it take?

There are 52 questions, and most take one tap. We do not have enough finish times yet to give you a fair number. Your answers stay in this browser, so you can stop and come back.

Is it free?

Yes. The questions and your top approach are free. If two or more approaches tie, you see each name. Premium is a one-time payment for the full report, and it is not open yet.

What does Premium add?

All eight approaches with how often you report each, the answers behind each one, a name for your mix, and what changed when you retake. Premium will be US$4.99 once, when checkout opens. See pricing

Do I need an account?

No. You can answer and see your result without one. Your answers stay in this browser.

Is my data sold?

No. We do not sell data, and we do not show ads. The site loads no third-party scripts.

Can my teen use it?

Yes. Learnality is made for students in grades 9 to 12. You can take it yourself first, then read their result together. For parents

What about children under 13?

Anyone can answer without an account, and those answers stay in the browser. An account for a child under 13 needs a parent's consent first, and that sign-up is not open yet. Children's privacy

Why 52 questions?

Forty questions set the eight percentages, five for each approach. Eight more check that your answers line up. The last four are short choices between two study moves. Fewer questions would make each percentage rougher.

Why did my result change?

How you answer can shift with your week, your classes, and how you read a question. A change of under 10 points counts as about the same. Any change is a change in what you report, not proof that you learned more or less.

What does a tie mean?

Two or more approaches came out level at the top. The free result names each one. It does not pick a winner, because your answers did not.

Is it scientifically validated?

No. Here is what we have and have not tested. Our team wrote and reviewed the questions. They have not yet been tested for reliability. What we have tested

Can teachers use it?

Not yet. Learnality for classrooms is in private testing. For teachers
